Bart Meyer entered this world on August 23, 1980 when he was born in the Zeeuwse village of Schore.

In his fourth year he moved to the larger village of Wemeldinge, 10 km further on, together with his father and mother, older brother and younger sister.

At the age of 19, he submitted his portfolio to several model bureaus. This  was a good idea, since, after several photo shots, he was nominated as “Mister Holland”. Which, winning the competition, he eventually became. Consequently, he was invited to Germany to compete against the other “Misters” contestants of the world.

Having completed his studies in Montpellier (Southern France) in 2001, he returned to The Netherlands. Re-entering the world of modelling, he was almost directly nominated as 1 of 7 Dutch young men to participate in the Mister-BENELUX competitions in Sedan (Northern France). During this competition he was up against the most handsome men of the Benelux. He became 4th, surpassing 22 other nominees.

In the meantime he was regularly being contacted for acting roles on television. He began focusing more on television and film, this being more to his liking, and so he decided to leave Wemeldinge (Zeeland, The Netherlands) and move to Haarlem, enabling him to be closer to Amsterdam and follow the strongly advised and desired actors education.

Being accepted for the theater education in Amsterdam, he successfully absolved the first two years, after which he specialized in stage and television, also in Amsterdam. After his graduation in 2007, Bart worked in show business. As a well liked actor ,he has participated and played very diverse roles  in TV and film productions.

Bart is ambitious loves life and thoroughly enjoys his work which shows in everything he does. He is absolutely convinced that it’s the drive that leads to success.
